Napa Guest House
Napa Guest House
New Construction | Custom Residential
Napa, Ca
Under Principal Architects Anthony Fish and Timothy Chappelle
Designed to compliment the existing 5,000 square foot main house and its surroundings, the 900 square foot Napa Guest House takes aesthetic hints from the main house and translates them into a novel and contemporary architecture.
A simple material palette and rudimentary building form combine to provide a subtle sophistication to the guest house which does not overpower the existing conditions. A slat wood rain screen wraps the longitudinal facades to soften the structure’s elevation among the natural backdrop of the rolling hills of Northern California. The Napa Guest House was completed in the Fall of 2020.
